Golden Gardens is an historic park originally developed in 1907 to lure Seattleites to the end of the new electric car line. Often windy and choppy (not like the photo), this is a thrilling place to swim. Restrooms are available.
We swam in Puget Sound along this picturesque beach, and ended this excursion getting warm and toasty as we sipped hot chocolate around a fragrant bonfire.
